Mikveh Tahara

Dating back to Biblical times, women have immersed themselves into the holy waters of the Mikvah for spiritual and physical cleanliness. A typical tvila (or immersion) occurs after a woman's menstrual cycle has finished and after a woman has given birth. Women usually experience their first immersion as a bride-to-be right before their wedding.

At Ivria we created two uniquely designed Mikvahs in order to bring women closer
to the mitzvahs (commandments) of family and spiritual purity. Our mikvahs were built and are still under the constant supervision of the Center for Taharat Hamishpacha, the local rabbinate and the honorable Rabbi Landau.

Relax in one of our warm baths in one of our specially-designed bathrooms, while listening to any soothing music of your choice, while we provide you with all that is required for the preparations of the tvila, a soft towel, an embracing bathrobe, and many other treats… and all in an atmosphere of purity and cleanliness.

The Mikvah Tahara at Ivria is open until late at night for your convenience.

Have your tvila (immersion) whenever you choose, as long as you arrange it in advance.
